ProFoods

We went to ProFoods to buy some different delicacies made of fresh fruits.Profood International Corporation is considered as the largest Philippine based dried fruit producer and the standard bearer of world class processed fruit products from the Philippine Islands. They also process and pack other desiccated tropical fruit products, purees, concentrates, and juices aside from dried mangoes.The company also supplies fresh fruit cuts packed with IQF (individual quick freezing) technology to retain the natural flavor, texture, and freshness.

Innodata

The speaker of the said company discussed to us the history of their company in the past few years. She also tells us a brief summary of what are the problems/conflicts they encountered and how they overcome and solved those problems together as one team. She toured us to the different areas of the company and discussed everything all about in every areas just like its functions and purposes. I have learned in her discussion that Innodata is a company particularly a data outsourcing company that deals with data particularly about books. Innodata performs Digital Content Processing which converts data/information into digital format. The operating system they are using are Windows 2012 Enterprise for servers and Windows 2007 or 2010 for personal computers(PCs). She also showed to us a room where in only you can see are the servers and switches they use. She said that room is considered as the lifeline of the company because it is where data is coming from.They are very strict when it comes to handling data/information. They maintain house rules and security for the progress of the company.

The Port

  The Port is located in Waterfront Hotel    & Casino in Lahug, an eat-all-you-can        restaurant found in the hotel's lower        lobby. This known dining spot comes          with a uniquely themed interior and s        serves an array of Filipino favorites,          particularly  seafood.

UP - INIT

 The speaker discussed to us the different   locations inside   the campus and its   functions. She presented us a short   powerpoint presentation with pictures.   She also explains   how the campus     involves those who students in different     businesses. I learned that UP Cebu Business   Incubator for IT   (UP Cebu inIT) is a   Technology Business Incubator (TBI)   made   possible by the University of the Philippines Cebu (UP Cebu) and DOST-Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD), and is located inside UP Cebu Campus. IT aims to create an environment where technological innovations can be created and deployed to solve real problems;a nd to nurture startups businesses to succeed.

University of San Carlos - Talamban Campus

We went to the University of San Carlos where it is considered as one of the Philippines’ top universities outside of Metro Manila. It is a Roman Catholic university, which is governed by the Society of the Divine Word. It was established in 1935, in Cebu City, Cebu.

The teachers discussed to us the information about the university. The university currently has four campuses: (1) Main Campus, located along P. del Rosario St.; (2) the Talamban Campus popularly called “TC,” which is located along Gov. M. Cuenco Ave.; (3) the North Campus formerly known as “Boys High,” which is located along Gen. Maxilom Ave.; and (4) the South Campus formerly known as “Girls High,” which is located along corner J. Alcantara St. (or P. del Rosario Extension) and V. Rama Avenue. They also toured us on their different computer laboratories.USC offers pre-elementary and basic education (grade school and secondary) levels, which are catered in the university’s South and North campuses. Undergraduate and graduate courses are offered at the Main Campus and the Talamban Campus except for the Department of Teacher Education, which is offered at the South Campus. The university has 8 colleges and 27 departments, which offer an excellent selection of academic programs: commerce and business, liberal arts, engineering, architecture, hospitality management, pharmacy, and chemistry.

Ayala Mall

We went to Ayala Center to have some relaxation. I have learned some facts about Ayala. These are : Ayala Corporation opened Ayala Center Cebu to the public in November 1994. Since then, it has become a premier shopping destination. From just about 24 tenants to begin with, the mall now has over 300 businesses in place. Among numerous stalls and boutiques found inside the mall, Metro Gaisano occupies the largest space. The Metro Gaisano department store and supermarket takes up six stories of Ayala Center Cebu. Rustan’s also has a department store and supermarket situated within the mall’s premises. National Bookstore also has a branch inside Ayala Center Cebu. Among the many boutiques and shops present in the malls are Nike, Manels, Artwork, Blue Magic, Penshoppe, Bench, Human, Oxygen, and Odyssey.

5 Things why I considered 10G the best restaurant in Cebu
1. Atmosphere/ Ambiance: 
Breathtaking view. The tallest building so you get to see the a nice view of Cebu.
2. Cleanliness: 
The overall area is very clean
3. Service
Very very friendly and accomodating staff! 
4. Food
The ramen's taste was bland. Noodles were like form the packed instant noodles.
5. Accessibility of the resto
The building is just right beside the main street.
